The Softer Side of Ethan

Posted on: November 14th, 2008 by wmapother No Comments

For all those Lost fans out there: the SciFi channel will be airing William’s season 2 episode, “Maternity Leave,” Monday night at 10pm ET! Check out William-as-Ethan in the episode where we finally start learning the backstory of Dr. Rom, and see the bone-chilling kidnapper find some traces of regret, warmth and complexity onscreen (albeit posthumously) in the weeks he interacted with Claire during her disappearance. For fans of William’s work (especially all those “Eclaire shippers”), this is an episode not to be missed!

A William project your kids can watch!

Posted on: November 6th, 2008 by wmapother 1 Comment

William Mapother fans who enjoy seeing him in scary, intense, or mature romantic/comedy roles have had a variety of viewing options in recent years, but there have been few choices for the young and/or sensitive to choose from. Fortunately that is about to change!
William recently recorded a guest spot on the PBS Kids series WordGirl, the animated series following a young girl who is secretly the superhero WordGirl, armed with superhuman strength, abilities, and a skilled vocabulary. Due to the extensive amount of production time required for animation, William’s episode, “Mr. Big’s Colossal Mini Golf”, hasn’t been given an airdate yet, but will probably air sometime in 2009. Keep an eye here on the blog and on the Events Calendar for updates as soon as they become available!
