What's Your Favorite _______?

First off, having to choose a single 'favorite' anything drives me crazy. Don't yours fluctuate, too? As soon as I've got mine nailed down, throw me in a pine box, 'cause life's lost its fun for me. I prefer the day-by-day, moment-by-moment 'who's ahead?' race of my favorites. Enough yappin'. Here are some perennial front-runners, with more to be added later:

Music: Waco Bros., Louis Armstrong, The Pretenders, Randy Newman, The Pipettes, and Thelonious Monk.

Books: White Noise, nearly anything by Samuel Johnson or Mark Twain, Ninety-Two in the Shade, the Enchridion.

Movies: Withnail and I, Wonder Boys, The General, Superbad, Rules of the Game, Juno, and United 93.

TV Shows: Arrested Development, The Office, Friday Night Lights, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, Sex and the City, Deadwood...oh, and Lost.

Videos: Scorcese's Sesame Street
